Welcome to Freshman year. This could be one of the most nerve racking and exciting years of your life, my advice would be to forget about the nerves and focus on the exciting part. The most important thing you can do is always ask for help when you need it, that is what we are here for.
In math class I expect that you will come to class prepared everyday ready to work. Bring your books, notebooks, calculators, and something to write with everyday please. You should plan on having homework most nights but it will usually only be about 20 minutes per night. Homework is very important to reinforce what we have been doing in class.
High School is what you make of it. Have fun, get involved, and try to keep an open mind and you will enjoy this year.
