It is the end of the quarter and if you need to get any work in it needs to be in by monday morning. If you have any questions please see me ASAP
Alg 1 cp1 and cp2- we are continuing working with quadratic functions and will be for another week or so. You will be assigned a project that will be the first grade of the 4th quarter and will hopefully get you off to a good start.
Geometry- we will be finishing up with parallelograms next week and you will be starting a big project after vacation

Alg 1 cp1 and cp2- we will be working on factoring for the next month or so, this is one of if not the most difficult concept that we will work on all year. Please make arrangements to stay after or go to math lab if you feel like you are falling behind
Geometry- We will be testing on similar triangles on wed of next week

Good Morning Blue Team
Things have been going great all year so far. This next couple of weeks will be tough to get through with all the excitement about winter vacaction, keep plugging along.
Algebra 1 cp1- We have started the Properties of Exponents and we will be spending the next couple of classes on this. These concepts are very important and you will see them all throughout high school.
Algebra 1 cp2- We will be starting to work on the Properties of Exponents today, This will be difficult for some of you.
Geometry- We have finished up with triangle congruence and will be preparing for the test this friday.

If you have anything you need to make up or retake you need to do it today or tomorrow. I have a couple small grades to enter into Aspen still but your grades are set for the most part.
Geometry- We will be finishing up with parallel lines and transversals tomorrow and preparing for the test, I'm not sure if it will be on this term or not.
Algebra 1 cp1- We will be reviewing tuesday and wednesday, Systems of Equations tests on thursday and friday. I will try to get these graded and on report cards.
Algebra 1 cp2- We will continue working on solving systems by elimination and move on to systems word problems this week.

We have a really short week of school this week, we already had monday off and we have a field trip on wednesday, it should be a good week.
Geometry- We started to work on proofs a little bit last week and we will continue all week this week with them. These will be difficult so please come to math lab if necessary.

Good Morning Blue Team,
What a great start to a school year. The attitude of all of the students on blue team has been fantastic and has allowed us as teachers to get a lot accomplished every day.
Alg 1 cp2- We have been working on inequalities and will continue to do so for the next week or so. We will be starting absolute value inequalities this week and these will be difficult. If you need help please attend math lab.
Alg 1 cp1- Everything has been going well so far, it seems like you all did a good job last year and it is carrying over to this year. We will be having a test on inequalities at the end of this week.
Geometry- Test on wed or fri, we will be reviewing wed if necessary. Please come to class ready to ask questions about concepts you are having difficulty with

Geometry- Great job so far, now I just need to get you guys and girls talking a little in class. We will be working on Distance Formula and Midpoint Formula for the next couple of days, quiz either tomorrow or monday depending on how you feel about the material in class tomorrow.
Algebra 1 cp1- Quiz on single step and multi step equations today and tomorrow for each of your classes. We will be moving on to inequalities after finishing the quiz and spending 2 or 3 days on them.
Algebra 1 cp2- Quiz today on single step equations. We will be moving on to multi step equations after the quiz. We will be working on these until you are all confident in solving all equations.
